This statement is made in the spirit of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps MB Talent Partners Ltd has taken during the financial year ending [31 March 2026] to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
1. Our business
MB Talent Partners Ltd is a specialist UK legal recruitment firm. We place candidates into permanent, contract and locum positions with regulated legal practices and in-house teams.
2. Our policies
- Right-to-work checks on all candidates we place, in line with Home Office guidance
- AML and identity verification on all clients and contract workers, in line with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017
- Whistleblowing channel for staff and contractors to report concerns
- A code of conduct prohibiting any form of forced or compulsory labour
3. Due diligence
We carry out risk-based due diligence on the clients we accept and the candidates we represent. We will not knowingly work with any organisation that engages in modern slavery practices.
4. Training
All consultants receive training on identifying the indicators of modern slavery and on the steps to take if concerns arise.
5. Reporting concerns
Anyone who suspects modern slavery in our business or supply chain should email compliance@mbtalentpartners.co.uk. Concerns are also reportable to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
